WIKING equips the Fendt 1050 Vario with twin tyres in the measurement of 1:32. The twin tyres distribute the wheel load over two wheels, significantly increasing the contact area during operation in the field. This reduces the load placed on the soil, enabling the tractor to transfer higher tractive forces to the ground compared to the standard or wide tyres. The heavy-duty tractor series from Marktoberdorf enters Fendt history as a “German masterpiece”. In the performance class between 380 and 500 hp, the series with the top 1050 Vario tractor has meanwhile become a proven tractor for a multitude of uses. WIKING miniaturises the evolutionary Fendt design and is able to impress with the compact chassis structure and new “x5 S” cab. The traditional model makers are thus once again taking on a Fendt tractor, the original of which, with a maximum height of 3.60 metres and a tare weight of 14 tonnes, is significantly lighter than the traditional designs in the 500 hp performance class, making it more flexible and thus more versatile.Miniaturised “x5 S” cab with even more glass and perspectiveThe “x5 S” cab exhibits greater workplace comfort, even in its model form. The WIKING model makes it clear that, due to the size of the Fendt 1050 Vario and the raised seating position of the farmer, the side and front panes have been lowered again for optimal lines of sight. The wider driver’s door to the cab can be opened, as can the large cab window. The ladder used to climb in and out is designed to be folded away, just like it can every day on the original. That illumination is becoming an increasingly important part of tractor construction is evidenced by the detail of the work light WIKING has placed on the cab roof. The steering function in the opened cab completes the perfect impression the collector has of its versatility. The exterior mirror and all-round light can also be individually adjusted as required. The integrated hood lights give the 1:32 series of the Fendt 1000 Vario a new, powerful design. One particular model highlight is the WIKING miniaturisation of the engine hood, which is secured manually via a belt. The semi-transparent radiator grille is already placed in the model part mould and thus appears as visually integrated as the Fendt design. Hydraulic top link extendible lengthwiseThe rear trailer coupling is flexibly mounted and suitable for the towing eye of the draw bar of the agricultural machine. The lower link can be used flexibly with both the front and the rear hydraulics. The variably positioned top link of the rear hydraulics can be extended lengthwise. The attachment is hung on the end of the top link, as it is in real life, while the piston ensures the desired orientation of the agricultural machine’s attachment by means of a combined grating. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to connect a wide range of attachments to the tractor without any problems, and adjust and secure them in position in a most lifelike manner. The various driving and working positions of the tractor with its attachments are therefore very realistic. Furthermore, the wheels of the oscillating axle can be removed with a tool that is supplied and replaced with other tyres. A magnetic cover conceals the screw positions of the front and rear hubs – visually harmonising the overall impression of the model. (Note: Not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
